Elish paturi or Hilsha Fish paturi ♥️❤️♥️💚💚

One of the most authentic dish is Elish macher paturi or Hilsa fish 🎣 which is folded with bottle gouard leaves or in Bengali we called it Lau pata. 

Our Bengali new year is approaching soon and it will be on 14 April. This dish is one of the popular dish in Bengali New year. People from West Bengal Calcutta also cooked this dish. 

I live in abroad so it’s not very easy for me to get that Hilsa fish. But this year I thought to make this one for us . It’s a perfect Saturday afternoon in Sydney. It’s autumn 🍂 here, so I thought this weekend to try this one which is came from Bengali culinary. 

This is very easy to prepare. It has three steps to follow. I will give you the recipe soon. 

I exactly followed how mom used to cook 👩‍🍳 Elish paturi or Elish macher bora. 

When mom cooked this when I was in country, I became so happy . Don’t know how mom made this one. She has a magic on her hands and she indulge us by preparing her best recipes. All of the relatives, cousins, friends , family members they just love my mom’s this paturi. 

Guess what today I finally prepared this. Mom showed me how to make it when I was in my country!!
