Beef curry

Red meat curry is very popular in Bengali cuisine. Today I used here beef curry . You can use any meat according to your taste.
Ingredients:
Onion 1
Ginger 1 and half tbsp
Salt as per taste
Garlic 1tsp
Chilli 1tsp
Turmeric 1tsp
Coriander powder 1tbsp
Cumin 1 and 1/2 tsp
Garam masala:
Cardamom 2/3
Cinnamon 2 sticks 1 inch each size
Nutmeg 1/4 tsp
Bay leaves 1
Method:
In a pan heat oil and onion first. Then fry garam masala whole spices. Fry for until gold brown.
Then add ginger and garlic paste. Fry it for 2 minutes. Then add all powder spices and a bit of water and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
Now add meat and mix well altogether. Add water if it’s required. Cover the lid and cook in a medium heat approx 30 minutes. If you need more time to tender then keep it on the stove until it’s soft.
Ready your yum yum red meat curry.
You can eat this delicious curry with roti, steam rice, naan or paratha.
